Welcome to Divine Birthways! I'm Jaiden Canteen, a full-spectrum doula serving families throughout the DC metro area, Northern Virginia, and parts of Maryland. I’m thrilled you're here to learn more about my journey, philosophy, and the heartfelt services I offer to support you through your unique birth experience.
My passion for nurturing and empowering families is deeply rooted in both personal and professional experiences. Growing up in South Carolina, I was profoundly influenced by witnessing the disparities and gaps within Western medical practices around childbirth. Driven by this awareness and my love for holistic wellness, I dedicated myself to redefining the birth experience by providing informed, compassionate, and empowering support.
I hold a degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Development from the College of Charleston, which enriches my approach as a doula. My background enables me to understand deeply the emotional and psychological journey of childbirth and parenting, providing a grounded, empathetic perspective to my clients.

Central to my practice is my passion for holistic and natural remedies. I integrate gentle, natural approaches such as herbal remedies, aromatherapy, breathwork, meditation, crystals, and ritual practices aligned with lunar cycles to provide a calming, supportive environment. My goal is to help each family find their path to a natural, empowered, and fulfilling birth experience, embracing the innate wisdom of the body and the profound strength inherent in the birth process.
Creating a soft place to land is at the heart of everything I do. I cultivate spaces—both physical and emotional—where families feel seen, supported, and cherished. My role is not only to educate but also to deeply listen, understand your individual desires, and advocate for your unique vision. Whether in the comfort of your home, at a birth center, or in a hospital setting, I am dedicated to ensuring your birth experience is as close to your heart's desire as possible.
